Hello there!  I’m Jody Spiegelhoff and welcome to my crafty blog.  I’m a wife and mother, who began crafting as a young child and never stopped.  My Nana Smith, now 80 years young, taught me many different crafts and took me to the local craft fairs where she would sell her own creations, such as her hand crochetted afgans.  My love for making things and ‘crafting’ in general began with her. Fast forward now.
I began stamping and card making in about 2001, which quickly led me to my passion, scrapbooking!  There’s just something about taking pictures  of those you love and creating a 12 x 12″ layout about what’s going on in those pictures.  It’s very special to me to be able to create those pages for my family and those generations who follow us.  It’s a family heirloom, a treasure.
My passion for scrapbooking and creating in general led me to a wonderful scrapbook supply company, Memory Works.  Through Memory Works, I’ve found many new friends both online and in person.  I’ve been featured on their blog HERE: http://memoryworksblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/simple-stories-tuesday_28.html
