Bring on new goodies!

Today I’m sharing a layout I created using the adorable Elle’s Studio Sunny Days collection, white doilies, Cork Confetti, wood veneer, Alma Mater sequins, a mini clothes pin and a glassine bag.

I just love this collection and the combination of colors. I knew I wanted to add both sequins and the new Cork Confetti to my layout along with a doily and the Free SMS Cut File from  last month.  I’m still waiting for a couple new collections to arrive on my porch, so I’ll have to wait to use the brand new sequins!!

I’ts been a crazy couple weeks here so I used my ‘go-to’ layering of some of the papers and cut apart cards behind my black and white photo.  To add my dimension I popped it up using some craft foam.  I also die cut some vellum hearts along with the other die cut hearts to add a little more love to my layout.  I added some Shimmerz Coloringz in No Yolking for an added pop of color to compliment the yellow sun a little more.

 

In the photos above, you’ll see more of the little details. I created a sequin pocket with a small glassine bag, which I have peaking out from behind my layer of paper and photo.  I also added in more Cork Confetti throughout the layout to add an earthy tone and some more texture and contrast.  I do love how delicate and thin the new Cork Confetti is in relation to the other page elements.  The Cork Confetti itself is hand die cut and is 1/32″ thick.
